When arriving in the Moody Air Force Base area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Valdosta Regional Airport which is located about 4 miles from the base. There are no shuttles or buses to the base, but rental car facilities are available. If arriving by car, exit the parking lot and turn left onto Georgia Highway 31. Take a left at the second stoplight onto Ashley Street. Follow Ashley Street north through downtown Valdosta to GA Highway 125. Get into the right lane of Ashley Street and bear right onto Bemiss.
