AIR FORCE AID SOCIETY:
Hours: Mon - Fri: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Located in the Airman and Family Readiness Center, the Air Force Aid Society provides financial assistance to eligible active duty military personnel, retirees, spouses of deceased military personnel and family members, for unforeseen financial emergencies. The "Car Care Because We Care" program is sponsored by the AFAS. Spouses whose sponsors will be TDY over 90 days are eligible. Spouses must bring a copy of the sponsor's TDY orders to the Airman & Family Readiness Center to obtain a voucher for a free vehicle safety inspection. The AFAS also assists active duty military members and their families with educational assistance (loans and grants). After duty hours emergencies should contact the Command Post at 229-257-3501.
